All upholstery can fade with time. This is most evident on the upholstery in dark colours, which should not be exposed to direct sunlight.

From time to time the seat and back pads of the chair should be beaten in order to establish a steady position of the material.

The cleaned surface can be dried, for instance, with a hair dryer.

How to care for sofa and chairs made of natural leather?


If you spilled a soiling liquid on the surface of the material, it is advisable to use plain water and a cloth that is not color-changing, in order to dry the flooded surface

If the contamination on the upholstery is greasy (e.g. oil, butter), collect the residues with a dry cloth, the stain should systematically sink into the leather

Every six month you should preserve leather using a leather conditioner

Leather goods, sofa, couches and corner settees should be set in such a place that they are not exposed to direct sunlight and heat, which will prevent leather fading and cracks

If possible, it is worth to beat seat and back pads regularly, in order to establish a steady position of the material •

The upholstery of chairs, sofas and couches should be vacuumed regularly


How to care for solid wood furniture ?


Dust and pollen should be wiped with a dry and soft cloth

Avoid placing alcohol or solvents directly on the surface of the polished furniture

Instead of using spray cleaning products that are widely available in supermarkets in order to remove dirt, often enough water alone will do, after that wipe the surface with a dry cloth.

In order to protect wood surfaces from scratching, use protective pads.

Sunlight exposure may alter the natural colour of the wood.

It is advisable from time to time to move the furniture from one place to another, to make the colour of the veneer remain the same over the entire surface. This rule also applies to table inserts.

High temperature can cause warping and shrinkage of the wood so the furniture should be placed far away from radiators and heat sources.

Direct contact with wax and rubber can leave marks that can not be removed from the surface of the wood or veneer.

Irregularities such as knots and uneven colour on the surface is natural for objects made of solid wood or natural veneer.
